Welcome from 2022 president

2022 President
Susana Villegas

Dear Members and Friends of the Chula Vista Chamber:

It is an honor to serve as the President of the Board of Directors of the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce, especially as businesses remerge from a once-in-a-century pandemic and as Chula Vista grows like never before in its history.

Chula Vista is roaring back, and no matter where you are in the city, the Chamber is here to serve you. To the East, businesses are both building and serving the needs of residential and commercial areas that did not exist five years ago. Downtown Chula Vista has resumed a renaissance led by diverse businesses that have brought a new cool to the city center. To the West, the Chula Vista Bayfront is only a few years from a great transformation that will create opportunity for local businesses to thrive for decades.

And as Chula Vista grows and transforms, so will its Chamber.

The Board of Directors and I are committed to leading a Chamber that meets the needs of today and tomorrow’s business community in the second largest city in the County of San Diego.

We are committed to leading a Chamber that is inclusive and a meeting place for businesses from new industries to network with and thrive alongside businesses that have been the bedrock of our communities for decades.

We are committed to leading a Chamber that actively represents the business community and is a trusted and effective local government advocate for small businesses, family businesses, and large businesses, alike.

We are committed to leading a Chamber that provides civic leadership from the ranks of our talented local businesses on the most important decisions that Chula Vista will make as a city.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to be a part of a new Chula Vista Chamber dedicated to helping you grow and to leading Chula Vista.

Sincerely,
Susy Villegas
Chair, Board of Directors
