It is a
great honor to serve you this year as the President for the Chula
Vista Chamber of Commerce.
As many
of you know, I have a passion for our Chamber's membership and our great city.
Your membership in the Chula Vista Chamber is an investment that will increase
the success of your business. Throughout the years the Chula Vista Chamber
of Commerce has proven to be a vital organization with a mission to promote and
support the economic development, and growth of our city.
On behalf
of the Chula Vista Chamber or Commerce, I want to respectfully take this
opportunity to thank our Honorable Mayor, Cheryl Cox, our public officials, our
Chamber's CEO Lisa Cohen, our Chamber Board of Directors and all other
leadership groups for their hard work and commitment to the success of our
business community, and the prosperity of our city. I also need to thank
every single member for your support to our Chula Vista Chamber.
In 2008,
we at the Chamber will move forward to support the development of our city with
faith, trust and fearlessness for the better of our entire community.
Working together we can support our businesses and city to achieve greatness.
This means advancing policies, programs and projects that restore financial
stability at City Hall, plans for the future and protects Chula Vista's quality
of life and fully utilizes our bay front to its highest economic and
environmental potential. None of this greatness can be achieved without
the commitment of the Chamber's members.
In
addition, I encourage each and every one of you to make a difference for our
local businesses and support the Chamber's mission. It is time to shop and
dine in Chula Vista! Support the local businesses that believe in you!
